Where have we been???

Well folks, the mom of the house has been mighty lazy in updating this site. First there was the big move to our new house in Sultan (and no, not the house we described in a previous post). And then there was all the unpacking. And then there was just taking a deep breath for two months and just enjoying being in our new house and neighborhood (and yes, it ROCKS...which is pretty remarkable, because our old neighborhood rocked as well...so how blessed are we to end up with the world's greatest formers neighbors, and then the world's greatest new neighbors?!) So, to make a long story short, the other house we put a contingent offer on was lost to a higher bidder, leaving us feeling house-less and pretty alarmed, but God came through with a house that we think suits us even better. For starters it has a fun backyard and a pretty sizable front yard too, is located on a cul-de-sac- perfect for beginner bike riders like Wyatt- and has a very functional one-story floor plan. Mom does not miss vacuuming stairs at all. We've gone from 2 and a half bathrooms down to two full (also great for Mom's cleaning routine), but have added a jetted jacuzzi tub, french doors, some bay windows and a wood burning fireplace. Dad was quick to add a good gas grill and a fire pit for summer nights. It's nice to have such a cozy place for a home.
